We take pride in the fact that our relationship with you doesn’t end when we bring a puppy to you. As responsible breeders, experienced puppy advisors, and dog lovers, we like to believe that nothing can ever go wrong with our puppies. However, some things are beyond our control. The health of a puppy depends on many factors, such as genetics, exercise, diet, and general care. If something goes wrong, we always strive to help, often even when our warranty doesn’t cover it. While we cannot guarantee that your puppy will never have health issues, we guarantee that we will do our best to ensure your new family member is healthy!
Our Health Guarantee:
We don’t believe your puppy is replaceable, but we do believe that sometimes the pain can be alleviated by the company of another furry friend. In the unlikely event of the death of a puppy within two years of birth due to genetic reasons, or if the puppy is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders (within two years) that negatively affect the puppy’s health, we will replace the pet with another of equivalent value at no cost to you. The cause of death must be certified by a licensed veterinarian. In the event of a puppy’s death due to genetics after ten years of birth, we will issue a credit of 70% of the original cost for the purchase of a replacement puppy of equivalent value. The cause of death must be certified by a licensed veterinarian.
What We Need From You:
Nothing delights us more than knowing that we’ve been able to provide you with a healthy and happy puppy. We seek your help to ensure that your puppy stays healthy. Here are a few measures that will help: Please send us a copy of the exam (medical record) within 2 business days after receiving your puppy. The exam must be performed by a licensed veterinarian. Your puppy will come with up-to-date vaccinations suitable for their age, so make sure not to vaccinate within the first ten days of receiving your puppy. Daily health care and maintenance for your pet, including all vaccinations and recommended check-ups. While we will deworm and vaccinate your puppy up to the departure date, we would like you to continue deworming properly and perform regular check-ups until the puppy is 9 weeks old or more (or as recommended by the vet).
Exceptions to Our Guarantee:
We cannot guarantee the disposition or temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, markings, or breeding ability of your new puppy. No replacement will be granted if the breed is known to be prone to hip dysplasia and is overweight. Failure to provide your puppy with timely vaccinations or regular veterinary care will void this guarantee. This guarantee does not cover costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undecided tests.
